Część projektu PROCESY, Instytut Antropologii i Etnologii Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu.

This post is a part of the project PROCESY, submitted by students of the Institute for Anthropology and Ethnology at the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań. The audiovisual project PROCESY presents two short ethnographic films by Ula Małecka and Paulina Chmielecka, both students of Ethnology from Poznań. Two filmic debuts are “Kobieta i kogut” (“The woman and the rooster”) and “Ruch” (“Movement”). The works present the world by drawing particular attention to the processes which are emergent of it. Nothing exists on its own, everything is involved in a web of relationships with other elements of the surroundings. If we learn to become attentive to it, we gain sensitivity to the single elements and to their relationships between each other.

O Urszuli Małeckiej/ About Urszula Małecka

Jestem studentką etnologii w Instytucie Antropologii i Etnologii w Poznaniu. Wśród nurtów antropologicznych dopiero wydeptuję sobie ścieżkę, choć mocno zbacza ona w kierunkach antropologii zaangażowanej, środowiskowej i politycznej.

I am a student of Ethnology at the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnology in Poznań. I am still searching for my path in anthropology, but I am driven towards engaged anthropology, ecological anthropology and political anthropology. I am fascinated by the possibility to redefine notions that describe human connections to nature, as I am searching for them during my research in eco villages and in eco-movements, as well as within local protests related to ecology. I like walking barefoot, spending time with people, singing, talking, dancing, and acting to the benefit of what I consider important.
