O Majce Skowron, sztuce i Mazurach rozmawiają:

Zuzanna Janin, rzeźbiarka, autorka instalacji, działań performatywnych, fotografii i wideo. Centralnymi tematami jej sztuki jest pamięć, czas, przemijanie, opresje kulturowe, wykluczenie, badanie granic sztuki. Artystka używa siebie jako narzędzia i “oka” – w jej sztuce rolę obserwatorki i narratorki przejmuje wykluczona z kultury postać kobiety i dziewczyny. W 1975 roku zagrała w serialu dla młodzieży, Szaleństwo Majki Skowron (reż. Stanisław Jędryka), tytułową postać: Majkę. Brała udział w wielu wystawach w kraju i za granicą, m.in. w Biennale w Istambule, Biennale w Sydney i w 54 Biennale Sztuki w Wenecji. 

Piotr Korduba, historyk sztuki, dyrektor Instytutu Historii Sztuki UAM. Zajmuje się architekturą mieszkalną, historią rzemiosła artystycznego i wzornictwa, a także niemiecko-polskimi relacjami historycznymi i kulturowymi.

Zuzanna Janin, sculptor, author of installations, performative actions, photography and video art. The central themes of her work are memory, time, transience, cultural oppression, exclusion, and the study of the boundaries of art. The artist uses herself as a tool and “eye” – in her art the role of an observer and narrator is taken over by the figure of a woman and a girl excluded from culture. In 1975, she starred in a series for younger audiences, Szaleństwo Majki Skowron (directed by . Stanisław Jędryka) (“Majka Skowron’s Madness”), the title character: Majka. She participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad, incl. at the Istanbul Biennale, the Sydney Biennale and the 54th Venice Biennale.

Piotr Korduba, art historian, director of the Institute of Art History at AMU. He specializes in residential architecture, the history of artistic craftsmanship and design, as well as German-Polish historical and cultural relations.
